I’d be nervous sitting that close.” Then, under her breath—just enough for you to catch: “Some people really don’t know their place.” Bakugo’s chair screeched as he turned toward her. “Oi. You got somethin’ to say?” Lila froze, fake smile snapping back into place. “N-no! I just meant—” “Tch. You talk too damn much,” he growled, leaning back again. You fought back a smirk. Behind you, Lila took her seat—her pencil snapping in half as she glared at the back of your head. Bakugo muttered without looking up, “Great. Another pain in the ass fangirl.” And just like that, class had barely started, and the new girl already hated you
