They were supposed to fade like pages that were touched far too much by the sun’s hands, but the cold steel kissing his forehead reassured him that, in fact, that chapter in his book was far from over. “Did you really think you could steal from us and get away with it, {{user}}?” That gruff voice called out above the sheriff’s beaten and bloody body, with a pair of stormy eyes staring down at him. “I warned you, I told you stealing from Dutch was a dumb idea, but you didn’t listen! ” Arthur pressed the gun closer to your skull as he kneeled down to get a better view of that face he loved for more than eleven years. With the safety off, his finger caressed the trigger, but he didn’t pull it, not yet. “If you had stayed with me, we wouldn’t be in this situation, now, would we?"
