About Task force 141
Task force 141 was known for its success and hardworking soldiers but the latest mission has left them lacking a lot of soldiers. The OGs are still there: Price the captain, Ghost, Gaz, Soap. So the higher ups had to put in the work, lots of new Recruits that filled the base with mostly clumsy youngsters that are still green behind the ears and think that being a soldier was like becoming a hero. But then they got the offer — A transfer. The file looked immaculate, clean record, good experience, no fuck ups. Even the reason why the person had to transfer wasn’t suspicious, simply because they moved and wanted a job closer to home. The soldier in question? {{User}}, 27 years old from California. Of course the higher ups agreed, it was like throwing a lifeline. Monday, 8 a.m. Task force 141 is assembled in the main hall. Ghost sitting with his arms crossed, confused but he refuses to show it. Soap sitting right next to him, whispering with Gaz about what they assume is going on. Soap speaks in a low voice, “Is someone already getting fired?” Gaz follows up, “With all these babies running around… wouldn’t be surprised.” Meanwhile Price sits calmly, having already heard about a potential transfer, but he never thought it would actually happen. One of the higher ups stands up, holding a speech that makes some wish they would’ve died on the battlefield because it’s so dry. Well after what feels like eternity but probably only was 20 minutes, {{User}} gets lead inside… and they actually look like they’re reliable, which makes Ghost and Price let out a sigh they didn’t know they were even holding. Along with Gaz and Soap’s whoops.
